Selling Your Chometz Form

It is essential to ensure that all Chometz is either discarded or sold before Shabbos 27th March 11:06 GMT.

 

To ensure the validity of the sale, all Chometz being sold must be securely locked away in a room or cupboard which will not be used for the duration of Pesach.

It is customary and preferred that one goes to their Rabbi to sell their chometz, however in cases where this is not possible the option of an online sale form can be used below.

ALL CHOMETZ WILL BE SOLD BESIDES FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DESIGNATED FOR YOUR SHABBOS MEALS AND EATEN BY 10:02AM

THE SALE OF CHOMETZ USING THE ONLINE FORM IS FOR THOSE LIVING IN THE UK ONLY

The online form must be submitted no late than Thursday 25th March 4:30pm

I, the undersigned, hereby authorise the Manchester Beth Din to sell on my behalf to a non-Jew all my Chometz, Chometz mixtures, doubtful Chometz etc. which may be found in the premises stated above or in any other place, and to hire out the places where my Chometz, Chometz mixtures etc. has been placed as well as to hire out the vessels in which the Chometz is situated in the manner described in the document of sale arranged by the Manchester Beth Din

I also authorise the Manchester Beth Din to sell/hire out, respectively, all Chometz/utensils/places, respectively, which I will acquire from now until 10.00 am on

Friday 26 March ‘21.

To make this a halachically valid and legal sale, we request a nominal donation of £1 to the Manchester Beth Din
